One of Miley Cyrus’ wrist tattoos is an outline of an anchor, inked on the outside of her right wrist. This is probably one of Miley’s more important tats, mostly because of its meaning and the circumstances under which Miley got the tattoo. Miley Cyrus chose an anchor for her seventh tattoo because she wanted something that represented a safe port, or a return home. Miley got the anchor tat inked on her wrist shortly after her parents, Billy Ray and Tish, announced that they were ending their 17-year marriage. Miley’s other wrist tat is her most recent and features a simple “Om” symbol, which represents the universe. The Om tattoo is the second of Miley’s Hindu-inspired tattoos, which sparked a public debate about whether or not Miley is expanding her religious beliefs to include Hinduism. Miley Cyrus’ wrist tattoo marks her tenth body tattoo and her fourth tattoo in 2011 alone. That’s one inked-up year!
