Finally bringing his “impossible triangle” full, er…circle, Chris Brown has called it quits with Karrueche Tran and is back on Rihanna’s radar, but Karrueche may not be out of his life forever. Breezy alluded to his lady troubles back in July 2012, when he got the large snake tattoo on his back with a Penrose triangle for a tail. Roger Penrose’s triangle is commonly referred to as “impossibility in its purest form,” and what could be more impossible than Chris Brown finally making a choice between the two women he loves – Karrueche and RiRi?

New Video Confirms “The Impossible Triangle” Hinted at in Snake Tattoo

If the confession-like video that Chris Brown recently released left you scratching your head, you’re not alone. Many of us experienced a “WTF??” moment after viewing the video that the R&B singer posted to his Twitter account on October 4, 2012, in which Breezy claims to love both Rihanna and ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Breezy isn’t technically dating either Karrueche or Rihanna at this point, but if he has to make a choice, all signs point to RiRi. At the same time, Brown confesses in his very awkward video that he does still love Karrueche, but says it’s better for them both if they aren’t together. We know, we know, it’s a relationship rollercoaster if we’ve ever seen one. Think back to the snake tattoo that Chris Brown got inked on his back in July 2012 though, and it will all make sense…kind of.

Brown’s “Impossible Triangle” Snake Tattoo

On July 12, 2012, Chris Brown debuted a new tattoo on his back of a large, mean-looking snake with a triangle for a tail. Along with a pic of the new ink, Brown posted this message: “The impossible triangle: year of the snake!!!” That got pretty much everyone wondering what exactly the singer meant by “the impossible triangle,” but we had a pretty good idea Breezy was alluding to a love triangle between him, Karrueche Tran and the infamous Rihanna. Instead of a rattle, the snake in Brown’s back tattoo features a red triangle for a tail, designed in the same fashion as the Penrose triangle – which is often referred to as “impossibility in its purest form.” The controversial singer got the snake tat in the midst of rumors about a possible reconciliation with former flame, Rihanna, and Chris Brown finally deciding which woman he wants to be with certainly seems impossible at this point.

Rihanna Calls Brown “the Love of My Life”

We all know by now that Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have called it quits, and if you asked Breezy, the break-up was his idea. “I have decided to be single to focus on my career,” he explained. “I love Karrueche very much, but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single, allowing us both to be happy in our lives.” If you ask Karrueche though, she split with Brown after he was caught several times last week partying with Rihanna, whom he was convicted of assaulting in 2009. Finally, if you ask Rihanna what she thinks of the whole ordeal, she’d tell you (or Oprah, to be exact) that, despite the fact that Brown beat her to a pulp three years ago, he is still “the love of my life.” And “when you don’t understand those feelings, you can make a lot of mistakes.” Classic.

Breezy’s Love Triangle With Karrueche and Rihanna

If all this back-and-forth between Chris Brown and Karrueche, and Chris Brown and Rihanna is making your head spin, you now understand Breezy’s “impossible triangle.” And just in case you don’t, take a peek at Brown’s new video, in which he says, “I’m stressed out. When you share a history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult.” Good thing Chris Brown cleared that up for us, right? He continues, “Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that.” So, here’s the break down, Chris Brown got a snake back tattoo because he’s caught in a love triangle between two ex-girlfriends – Karrueche Tran and Rihanna. Breezy is still the love of RiRi’s life, but she’s probably a little hesitant to get back with him given the fact that he beat the crap out of her in 2009. And Karrueche Tran? No one is really sure what is going on with her, but her reaction to Breezy’s video was this: “Wtf is going on? All I’m saying is…You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t! Life moves on…So let’s all.” Well said.
