Vietnamese model Karrueche Tran has managed to stay out of the limelight since her very public break-up with pop star Chris Brown (they may be back together), but the 25-year-old made headlines again this week when she showed off the giant zipper tattoo she has inked on the back of her leg at Zing Vodka’s Kandyland soiree in Beverly Hills. Only problem is…Karrueche Tran’s zipper tattoo is not even close to being new. The former love of Breezy’s life added the unfortunate tat to her collection waaaay back in July 2011, around the same time that Chris Brown’s tattoo of the creepy smiley face was inked on his back. Maybe these two are meant to be together…
Leg Tat “Revealed” at Bevery Hills Soiree
Celebrity gossip sites like the Huffington Post and the Daily Mail “broke the news” earlier this week that Karrueche – a tattoo lover like Breezy – had added a new tattoo to the back of her leg. Karrueche Tran’s leg tattoo features a black and white image of a zipper extending all the way from the back of the model’s upper thigh down to her right ankle, and the ink was on full display at the Zing Vodka soiree, thanks to Karrueche’s skimpy red Kimi Kouture romper. Although hands down her worst, the zipper ink isn’t Karrueche’s only tattoo. She has five others, including a long quote on her left side, the word “promise” on her pinky finger and a colorful dragon tat on her hand, which she got at the same time as Chris Brown’s snake tattoo on his back.
Someone Zip that Girl Up!
Back in 2011, when Karrueche got her zipper tattoo inked on the back of her leg, she posted a pic of the new tat on Twitter, along with the caption: “Can someone zip me up? Sh*t it hurts!” Being that Karrueche revealed her zipper leg tat more than two years ago, we’re not sure why everyone suddenly thinks the ink is new. It’s not like the model and fashion designer has kept herself covered up for two years. Whatever the reason, the sources claiming Karrueche Tran went under the needle this week are waaay behind the times, people.
