If you were unconvinced before that American Idol star Fantasia Barrino and new love Kendall Taylor are dedicated to one another, check out the new chest tattoo Taylor just got of Fantasia’s name! In the midst of speculation that the couple secretly tied the knot, being that they have both recently sported what appear to be wedding rings, Fantasia took to Instagram to show off her beau’s chest tattoo, which features what looks like a crest or suit of armor with Fantasia’s name in the middle. In Taylor’s tattoo, which is inked in black and white on the left side of his chest and left shoulder, Fantasia’s name is written with the “S” as a treble clef.
Fantasia shared a photo of Kendall Taylor’s new tattoo on Instagram, captioning the pic: “Loyalty does not come Cheap!!!” She inexplicably deleted the picture and then decided to repost it shortly after, this time with a new caption: “@kingcole_10 Thanks so much Man…Your Bringing out his story thru Art.. Thank You can’t wait to see it all finished @4everinktattoos.” Kendall Taylor’s chest tattoo was inked at the 4everink tattoo studio in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fantasia raised speculation about a possible new tattoo for herself, after posting a pic of her inked-up side, along with the caption, “Over Here with the Fam @4everinktattoos.”
If Fantasia did get a new tat dedicated to Taylor, this wouldn’t be the first time she has gone under the needle for a relationship tattoo. Prior to cozying up with Kendall Taylor, the COO of Metro Transportation, Fantasia for a brief period of time dated Antwaun Cook, a married man who was separated from his wife at the time, and the two had a child together, a little boy named Dallas Xavier Barrino. During her relationship with Cook, Fantasia decided to prove her love for the man in a more permanent way, with a “Cook” tattoo inked near her left collarbone.
Fantasia has since covered up her “Cook” tattoo with some new ink, but that obvious mistake didn’t stop her from apparently going under the needle again, this time for Kendall Taylor. If Fantasia and Kendall Taylor really did say “I do,” that’s at least a slightly better reason for the couple to get lovey-dovey relationship tattoos. However, as newly-single celebrities like Nick Cannon, Amber Rose and Melanie Griffith can tell you, even a tattoo representing your undying love can’t save a doomed marriage.
