Remember, like, just a couple weeks ago when we included Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa in a list of celebrities who sport relationship tattoos and have managed to stay together despite the negative stigma? Well, it appears that we spoke too soon, because according to recent reports, Amber Rose has officially filed for divorce from poor Wiz, and to add insult to injury, she is also seeking full custody of their one-year-old son, Sebastian! Now we’re just wondering what the heck Amber Rose is going to do about that gigantic tattoo of Wiz Khalifa‘s goofy portrait she sports on her upper arm, complete with marijuana leaves and all?
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa have been married for just one year, but the rapper and model dated for about two years before tying the knot in 2013. Amber first confirmed the romance on Twitter in January 2011, writing “I’m so in LOVE I don’t care what anyone says that’s my baby I found happiness my heart is with Cam,” referring, of course, to Wiz Khalifa’s birth name, Cameron Thomaz. Amber then proved her love for Wiz in May 2013, when she had a huge portrait tattoo of the rapper inked on her arm, posting a pic of the tat online with the caption: “True Love #Cam&Amb.” She posted a another message to Wiz around that time, gushing: “One year since he proposed, 2 years since I met the love of my life and 1 week since we had our baby boy. Happy Anniversary, Wiz Khalifa. Love you baby!”
Amber’s move to divorce Wiz comes as a huge shock, especially because the couple has always put up such a happy front in public, as you can deduce from Amber’s online love notes to Wiz. Unfortunately, the word on the street is that the breakup is less than amicable, and according to the divorce papers, Amber is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. In fact, she apparently wants out of the marriage so bad, she isn’t even challenging the prenup the couple has in place for situations such as this. We have to say, we did NOT see this coming! Apparently no one is safe, no matter how happy they seem…next thing you know, David and Victoria Beckham will be calling it quits!
