Celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang has gone and done it again…this time putting his mark on the beautiful Adele, who stopped into the infamous tattoo artist’s shop in New York City to add some new ink to her growing collection. Adele’s new tattoo is inked on the outside of her left fist and features the word “Paradise” written in a simple black text, although the British songstress may not be in paradise when a certain American singer finds out about the hand tattoo! That’s right, Adele’s new tattoo is an almost exact copy of the tattoo that singer-songwriter Lana Del Ray debuted in January 2012. Lana’s tattoo also reads “Paradise,” and is also inked in black on the outside of her left hand, although the font in Lana’s tat is slightly different. This could lead to one serious cat fight!
Adele’s Tattoo May Represent New Album Title
Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy was the first to debut Adele’s new tattoo online, posting a pic of the singer’s ink on Facebook, along with the caption, “The lovely adele came in to get tattooed today.” Adele’s new tattoo comes around the same time as rumors that the 25-year-old pop star may be planning to release another new album in 2014. Some have speculated then, that the “Paradise” tattoo on Adele’s hand may be a hint of the title for the singer’s upcoming album, similar to Lady Gaga’s tattoos that read “ARTPOP” and “Born this Way.” This would also be a pretty controversial move on Adele’s part, considering the fact that Lana Del Ray’s hand tattoo was inked in honor of her own album, also titled “Paradise,” which was released back in November 2012.

Whether Adele’s new tattoo is a tribute to her upcoming album, or simply a reminder that life as a mom can be “Paradise,” we have to say, we love the singer’s ink! And while Adele may not seem like the type to get tatted-up, the pop star is no stranger to tattoos. In fact, the “Someone Like You” singer has three other tats inked on her body, including a tattoo on her left wrist featuring a circle with a small heart and the words “One Penny” inked inside, three small dots in a horizontal line on her left wrist, just above the “One Penny” tattoo, and a large letter “A” inked in script behind her right ear. Oddly enough, Lana Del Ray also has a script letter tattoo – a capital “M” inked on her left hand as a tribute to her grandmother Madeleine. Perhaps Adele is getting her tattoo inspiration from the 27-year-old singer…let’s hope she doesn’t stop at “Paradise!”
