What do Miley Cyrus, Vanilla Ice and Bethenny Frankel have in common? Not much…except for matching tattoos inked on the soles of their feet. Shortly after Miley debuted her unique foot tattoos in September 2013 in honor of her first Rolling Stone cover, old-school rapper Vanilla Ice revealed his own take on the ink – writing “Miley Cyru$” in sharpie on the bottoms of his feet and uploading the picture to Twitter for all the world to see. Now, the latest person to take Miley’s idea and run with it is talk show host Bethenny Frankel, who showed off faux foot tattoos on October 18, featuring “Rick” on the bottom of her right foot and “$pringfield” on the bottom of her left, as a tribute to the Australian singer.
Bethenny Frankel shared a pic of her foot “tattoos” with her more than one million Twitter followers this week, including the caption, “Guys, I did get a tattoo.” Apparently, the talk show host got the idea after Vanilla Ice appeared on “Bethenny” and discussed how Miley Cyrus recently dissed him. During her recent interview with Rolling Stone, Miley reportedly said she was worried that 19-year-old Justin Bieber would ruin his career with his recent childish antics, and could end up “where people think he’s Vanilla Ice.” Ouch Miley! Don’t worry though, Vanilla Ice kept his cool (see what we did there?) and actually said that he agreed with Miley, but that she should take her own advice.
Even though Vanilla Ice and Bethenny Frankel’s fake foot tattoos were obviously tongue-in-cheek, it only goes to show you that people are paying attention to 20-year-old pop star, for better or for worse, and she is very much aware of that fact. For the record, we think Vanilla Ice’s Miley Cyrus tattoo joke was pretty funny. Bethenny Frankel’s….sorta funny, although we’re still wondering why she chose 64-year-old Rick Springfield as the inspiration for her faux tats.
I love it. Lets see more art on feet and toes!! Its SUPER!
