Tattoo Face-Off: Justin Bieber & Zayn Malik’s Sleeve Tats – Whose is Better?

Between Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber, we have been enjoying a bit of a tattoo frenzy these days, as the two inked-up pop stars go tat for tat to complete their full sleeves. Zayn’s most recent addition to his almost-sleeve tattoo was the cartoonish image of girlfriend Perrie Edwards that he added to his right arm in June 2013, while the Biebs made headlines just last week for nearly completing his full sleeve with the addition of a large rose tattoo on his left arm. Both Zayn and Justin are clearly big fans of getting inked and neither singer shows signs of laying off the tattoos anytime soon – at least until they finish their respective sleeves. Zayn Malik’s Right-Arm Sleeve Tattoo

Zayn Malik has been hard at work perfecting the artwork on his right arm, which consists of a number of large tattoos and some smaller tats that fill in the spaces of the pop star’s almost-sleeve. Some of the most prominent pieces in Zayn Malik’s sleeve tattoo include the gigantic and very realistic microphone tat the singer has inked on the inside of his forearm and the comic-inspired “ZAP!” tattoo inked on the outside of his forearm. There’s isn’t too much mystery behind Zayn Malik’s tattoos – the singer has come right out and said that most of the images in his almost-sleeve represent important aspects of his life. Judging by the images used in Zayn’s arm tattoos, our guess is that the singer has filled his right arm with all the things he holds close to his heart, including music and his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

Sleeve Tat on Justin Bieber’s Left Arm

When it comes to getting inked, JB has always been a little haphazard in choosing the subject matter, so that we’re not always sure of the inspiration behind Justin Bieber’s tattoos. One thing we are definitely sure of though, is that the Biebs loves tattoos and he is nowhere near done getting inked. Beginning with the small “Believe” tattoo he got inked on the inside of his forearm in June 2012, Justin rapidly added new tattoos to his growing collection until the rose tattoo he got last week nearly completed the sleeve on his left arm, which is still a work in progress. Similar to Zayn Malik’s tattoo of Perrie Edwards, Justin has also included in his sleeve tat a portrait of the girl of his dreams – ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. However, many of the other tattoos featured in Justin Bieber’s sleeve seem to have more abstract meanings, like his koi fish tattoo, tiger tat, knight tattoo and castle tat with crashing waves.

Justin and Zayn Still Working on Their Sleeves

Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik are around the same age, and both pop stars’ tattoo collections are well into the double digits.
